David Plotkin (that’s me) is the Data Quality Manager for AAA of Northern California, Nevada, and Utah. I work in San Francisco, and live in the eastern part of the SF Bay area, in Walnut Creek.

I have been a photographer since I got my first camera at age 11, and travel the world by cruise ship with my wife Marisa, seeing the sites and taking a lot of pictures. I use a Minolta DSLR, and use Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop Elements, and Paint Shop Pro Photo to adjust the images. I’ve written books on all three of these programs

I got into building web sites some years ago, and built Marisa’s web site (www.MarisaMontes.com) for her. The tools we have now (especially Netobjects Fusion) make it fun and (mostly) easy.

In addition to taking pictures and writing books, I like to bicycle (I have a recumbent trike) on the wonderful biking trails around my home.
